Acapulco Gold traces back to the sun-soaked hills of Guerrero, Mexico — one of the earliest landrace genetics to reach the US, prized for its golden-green, brown-flecked bud structure and heavy resin production. Decades of informal breeding and, more recently, stabilization work by modern programs have kept the line consistent while preserving its landrace character.
Structurally it's sativa-dominant, tall and vigorous with strong lateral branching — a plant built for open sun and warm air. Our mother stock is maintained and propagated as vegetative, non-flowering clones under Frost Hollow's compliance program.
